This SLX crankset takes its technology from the Deore and XTR range of components and implements them into a reliable and excellent value crankset. This crankset features Hollowtech II, hollow forged crankarms; this adds strength and makes it incredibly durable, whilst keeping the weight down.
The SLX M677 crankset is at home on any All Mountain bike, its tough and aggressive characteristics enable it to endure the terrain associated with All Mountain riding. The Dyna-Sys designed chainrings provide optimal shifting across the cassette even when at the extremes of 'cross-chaining'. It is ideally suited for use with a Shimano HG-X chain that will give smooth and precise gearshifts, even when under load.
